Jan-Willem is an experienced leader in the petrochemical market. For the past 15 years, Jan-Willem was a trader/book leader for a renowned trading company. He worked and lived in Seoul, Houston, Singapore and Geneva. His Main focus has been on the global trade of petrochemical and gasoline products. Over the past years, he has successfully developed a position in the advanced recycling market and invested in several promising new ventures. He has delivered significant value growth by leveraging his extensive network within the global petrochemical industry. Jan-Willem holds a MSc in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Jeroen is a finance executive with over 20 years of experience in M&A, Corporate Finance and Operations. He started his career at ING and spent 18 years at GE Capital where he was responsible for debt & equity investments in European mid-market companies and European energy and sustainability projects in Europe. Over the past years, Jeroen has developed a deep understanding of how the circular economy drives value to investors and he brings a wealth of experience in structuring complex transactions designed to achieve tangible impact. Jeroen holds a MSc in Economics from Groningen University and an MBA from London Business School.

He started his career at ING and spent 18 years at GE Capital where he was responsible for debt & equity investments in European mid-market companies and European energy & sustainability projects. Over the past years, Jeroen has developed a deep understanding of how the circular economy drives value to investors and he brings a wealth of experience in structuring complex transactions designed to achieve tangible impact. Jeroen holds a Msc Economics from Groningen University and an MBA from London Business School.

Arie has an extensive background in Investing, Operations and Corporate Finance. He started his career in investment banking advising on both Mergers & Acquisitions and capital market transactions (eg IPOs), specializing in the waste market. He subsequently joined a portfolio company owned by a large US fund ultimately leading a comprehensive restructuring as COO. The last 7 years before joining Infinity he was a Partner at GIMV a European Investment company. Arie is dedicated to use his experience to drive change in the global recycling market. Arie holds a MSc in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam

Monica Puccetti

Head of Impact / ESG, Investment Manager

Monica is a driven and motivated M&A professional with multiple years of cross-border experience throughout Italy, The Netherlands and India. She combines an international background with extensive skills in the broader corporate finance field managing multiple complex projects (sell-side, buy-side deals, Deal-related valuations, IPO and strategic partnerships). Among her core skills is the in-depth knowledge of advanced valuation practices. Whilst in India to set scalable services provided by PwC proprietary Hub center, she developed a high interest for ESG topics leading her to take a more prominent and hands-on role on the matter. Within PwC, she was part of the Deals internal ESG committee, taking care of analyzing and implementing ESG topics in the M&A cycle, assessing the impact of ESG and outlining the approach to reflect the ESG factors in deals for valuation purposes.

Olav Aagaard

Olav is a R&D executive with over 30 years of experience in innovations in the plastics industry. He started and served 13 years in research Management & Business development roles in several polymer businesses of Royal DSM. The last 17 years, he has worked for wine closure producer & brand owner Vinventions where he is responsible for new product innovation and new product launch. His focus and passions lie with sustainability & innovation, and he has recently successfully pioneered the use of advanced recycled materials in wine closures. As such, he experienced the necessity of the rapid scale-up of supply of advanced recycled polymers and dealt with how to embed and sell this innovation in the complex plastic value chain. In his role of technical partner, he brings value with his product launch R&D/BD experience and knowledge of the plastic value chain and players. Olav holds a MSc Chemical in Engineering and has a PhD in Organic Chemistry, both from the Technical University of Eindhoven.

She gained experience in Perú, working at an M&A boutique and later at an investment firm dedicated to investing in microfinance and education across the Latin American region. This experience gave her a deep understanding of the investment process (buy and sell side) from the perspective of developing countries. Her interest in learning more about sustainability and the European business approach led her to Europe. Lucía holds an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

Nelleke is VP Materials at The LEGO Group, responsible for materials in LEGO core products. She heads the team that drives technical development of sustainable materials for future products. Prior to joining LEGO, she held several leadership positions at Avantium and worked as research engineer in the R&D Center at ABB Lummus Global in Bloomfield NJ. Nelleke holds a PhD and MSc in Chemical Engineering from Delft University.

Benny is Vice President Sustainability at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company, a worldwide producer and marketer of petrochemical products equally owned by Chevron and Phillips 66. He has over 30 years experience in the petrochemical industry across Exxon, ICI and Chevron Phillips. Benny is a Board Member of Plastics Europe and a longstanding member of Cefic.

Russell is an experienced cleantech investor and serial entrepreneur with over 25 years of international experience in energy and resource efficiency sectors. He has built and run over $1 bn of funds and investments including with The Carbon Trust, Nomura, Aramco and Green Investment Bank-SDCL. He has served on the CalSTRS Green Wave Advisory Board and engaged with international climate and energy initiatives such as UNFCC-COP and UNEP.

He has a strong track record of supporting students, innovators and entrepreneurs address the challenges and opportunities of climate change. He co-founded Climate-KIC, EU's main climate innovation initiative (>1,000 start-ups, attracting over €0.5 bn investment). He is a member of London Sustainable Development Commission and led the realization of Centre for Climate Change Innovation.

Angeles serves as the Lead Sustainability Advisor of Blue Sky Group. She is an experienced impact investor with + 20 years of experience in Developed and Emerging Markets. She has specialized in sustainable themes and the energy transition, as an investor and a thought leader. Prior to her role, she worked for Triodos as the Lead Fund Manager of Triodos Groenfonds, a Euronext listed green vehicle dedicated to the Energy transition, encompassing + 350 projects with a total value of €1.2bn.

She was distinguished in 2021 with the London based prize “Women Smart Energy Award Category Finance” for her active role in financing the energy transition. She is part of the Top 50 Women in Sustainable Finance in the Netherlands 2022.
